Greetings! Congratulations to everyone who performed at the Saxophone Alliance Biennial Saxophone Conference held at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia March 3-6, 2010. It was a wonderful week filled with exciting and heartfelt music and it was great to see old friends and to make new ones. The extraordinarily high level of performances from professional and student performers is a testament to the depth and commitment of saxophonists all around the country. A special thanks to our VIP guests, Eugene Rousseau, Claude Delangle, Frederick Hemke and Brad Leali. Your presence and performances were truly an inspiration to all. Thank you also to Dr. Stephen Fischer for his wonderful hosting amidst the passing of his father, Dr. Kenneth Fischer and to all who contributed to the organization and presentation of this conference - the NASA Program Committee, the NASA Executive Committee and Board and the NASA Competition Coordinators. Your contributions were extraordinary and an enduring testament to your commitment to excellence. It was a truly special week in every way. Bravo to all!!! Look for future postings about upcoming NASA Regional Conferences and our next NASA Biennial Conference to be held at the University of Arizona, hosted by Dr. Tim McAllister in the Spring of 2012.

Warmest Regards,
