The Third Jean-Marie Londeix International Saxophone Competition, 2011 July 4-16

Dear Friends of Saxophone:

Saxophone Maestro Jean-Marie Londeix has a life-long reputation as a distinguished performing artist, educator and scholar. Under his influence, the saxophonists of the world have been mentored by his effortless dedication. To acknowledge his contribution, the College of Music, Mahidol University in Thailand is organizing an international saxophone competition under M. Londeix's supervision.

In this competition, we will provide the winners with abundant prizes including 5,000 Euro for the first prize, 3,500, the second, and 2,000, the third, as well as engagement of a concert with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra.
In addition to the cash prize, we will offer high quality saxophones as prize for the winners.

We anticipate this international competition in Bangkok will be a major event in the saxophone world.
